Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care in various settings, including hospitals, urgent care facilities, and medical offices. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and blood pressure.
- Provide care for patients with specific needs, including those with dementia or developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
- Support the nursing staff in urgent care situations by responding promptly to patient needs.
- Assist in the management of infectious disease care protocols as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and health status.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for all patients by adhering to infection control policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; experience with children is a plus.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation standards is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks and health screenings prior to employment.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is required.
- This position is a every weekend position.

Pay: $26.09-30.03 per hour
