Job Title: Furnace Operator
Location: Springdale, OH
Compensation: $20-25 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and control heat treat furnaces in accordance with established procedures and written instructions.
- Prepare parts for processing, including loading and unloading furnaces, fixtures, and baskets.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during furnace operation or escalate them to the supervisor as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required
- Previous experience with operating a vacuum furnace for heat treatment is required.
- Knowledge of heat treating processes and procedures is highly desirable.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
