Job DescriptionAs a Screw Machine Operator, you will set up and operate Acme and Davenport machines to produce precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on consistent machine operation, quality checks, and making adjustments to keep production running smoothly. You’ll work hands-on with tooling and materials while supporting team production goals. This position is well-suited for mechanically minded individuals looking to grow their skills in screw machining.Responsibilities

• Operate Acme and Davenport screw machines during assigned shift
• Load bar stock, replenish fluids, and remove chips to maintain machine performance
• Perform basic machine setups, including tooling changes and adjustments
• Inspect parts to ensure quality and specification requirements are met
• Assist teammates with troubleshooting, tool changes, and routine maintenance

Qualifications and Requirements

• Mechanical experience in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, or related trade work
• Ability to perform basic math for measurements and machine adjustments
• Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and production equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new processes
