The Learning Spectrum (TLS), part of the New Story Schools family, delivers specialized education for students ages 5–22 in grades K–12 across Ohio. We partner with families and school districts to provide a structured, supportive environment where students can grow academically, socially, and behaviorally. As an SLP at TLS, you’ll work with small, manageable caseloads and collaborate closely with educators and interdisciplinary specialists. Your expertise will help shape individualized plans that promote meaningful progress, while you contribute to a team that values clinical quality, communication, and shared success

Your Role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Assessment & IEP Planning: Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and support IEP goal setting and progress monitoring through data-informed interventions
- Collaboration & Implementation: Work with multidisciplinary teams and caregivers to deliver tailored speech-language therapy activities.
- Progress Monitoring & Behavior Support: Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and implement behavior management strategies in collaboration with the team to maintain a positive and effective learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- A master’s degree from an accredited academic program.
- Active ASHA certification for speech-language pathologists (CCC-SLP) and/or audiologists (CCC-A).
- Must have knowledge of child development and common behavioral disorders exhibited by children and adolescents.
- Demonstrated understanding of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and implementation.
- Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally as an SLP.
