Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lease Accountant to join our client’s team onsite in Mason, OH. This role is responsible for managing the accounting aspects of lease modifications, terminations, and related financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of lease accounting standards, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:

Manage accounting for lease changes, terminations, and new agreements in compliance with applicable standards

Perform lease reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting

Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to resolve lease-related issues

Utilize Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs for data analysis and reporting

Support month-end close processes related to lease accounting

Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

Strong understanding of lease accounting principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

At least 2 years of accounting experience
Pay Details: $53,000.00 to $68,000.00 per year
