Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 3rd shift (11pm - 7am, Sunday - Thursday) with the possibility of overtime. The ideal candidate will perform electrical repairs and mechanical repairs, as well as preventative maintenance on plant systems and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on plant systems and mechanical equipment.
- Read diagrams, sketches, manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
- Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing fuses, switches, solenoids, and gates.
- Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Set up and operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, horizontal band saws, end mills, vertical band saws, pipe threaders, and other metalworking tools to maintain or repair parts.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of PLCs and troubleshooting PLCs.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics.
- Experience replacing fuses, switches, and solenoids.
- Must have own tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move around, bend, climb, and crawl.
- Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Environment
The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, vibration, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally, work may be conducted in high, precarious places with moderate noise levels. Safety training sessions are mandatory, and all safety guidelines must be followed. Physical demands include frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that require standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and occasionally sitting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $70720.00/yr.
