Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available to serve K-12 students in a school setting in Cincinnati, OH. This contract role is scheduled for the current school year and offers the opportunity to positively impact the educational experience of children with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 10 students.
- Collaborate with special education teachers and other school staff to support student development.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs.
- Document therapy sessions and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in school settings.
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with children across K-12 grade levels.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality therapy services to support student success.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Based in Cincinnati, OH.
- Four days per week, 7-hour days totaling 28 hours weekly.
- Start date: ASAP.
- End date: May 29, 2026.
- Single school building assignment.
