Medical Assistants are an essential part of our team and make a real difference in people’s lives. They fulfill both administrative tasks and patient care duties, acting as liaisons between patients and physicians.
A day in the life of a HSO Medical Assistant:
- Communicating effectively with patients, clinicians, and co-workers
- Rooming patients and obtaining visit information
- Performing front-office and back-office duties
- Medication and pre-authorizations
You’ve got what it takes to be a HSO Medical Assistant if you:
- Have completed a Medical Assisting Program
- Have an active BLS certification
Extra dose of awesome if you:
- Are CMA/RMA
- Have 1-2 years of related experience
- Understand Electronic Medical Record softwares (We use NextGen)
