Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Shop Helper Part-Time $15/hr (Initially half day; potential for increased hours based on demand) to join the team for our customer in Newcomerstown.
This position is ideal for someone with mechanical experience. Having your own diagnostic tools is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing brake repairs, u-joint replacements, chassis maintenance, and exhaust system work.
- Support mechanics and technicians in various automotive maintenance and repair tasks.
- Follow instructions and guidelines provided by senior staff members.
- Learn and adapt to new techniques, tools, and procedures within the shop environment.
Requirements:
- Mechanical experience and knowledge, especially in brakes, u-joint work, chassis, and exhaust systems.
- Ability to assist with hands-on tasks related to automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced workshop.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This position currently offers a part-time commitment of half a day, with the potential for increased hours as demand grows.
