Job title - Lab Reactor Technician
Location - 23800 Mercantile Road, Beachwood, OH 44122 United States.
Contract - 9/22/2025 to 9/21/2026
Shift - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
Job Title: Lab Reactor Technician, Catalyst Evaluation Lab (Beachwood, OH)
§ Have excellent laboratory skills, including detailed record keeping and knowledge of safe handling of chemicals, compressed gases, and related equipment
§ Able to write and follow laboratory procedures
§ Proficient with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
§ Have experience with laboratory or pilot-scale equipment; reactor experience a plus
§ Have strong focus and solid understanding of laboratory safety protocols
§ Proficient with MS Office software, particularly Excel
§ Able to safely lift up to 50 lb
§ Mechanically Inclined
§ Strong attention to detail
§ Experience in chemical or related industry preferred
§ Experience with gas chromatography (GC) a plus
Responsibilities:
§ Independently operate a variety of laboratory equipment, primarily autoclave and fixed-bed reactor systems
§ Maintain accurate, comprehensive run sheets, collect data, and report results
§ Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory equipment
§ Be able to safely handle a variety of hazardous chemicals (feed make-up, catalyst loading/unloading, sample collection, waste collection and disposal, etc.)
§ Assist with the installation of Swagelok tubing, fittings, valves, regulators, etc. as needed for reactor unit modification, construction, and repair.
