Pay: $15.50/hr. (Temp-to-Hire)
Shift: Mon - Friday 7a-3:30p

Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator

Job Summary:
The Packaging Machine Operator works safely and efficiently to produce and package wood shavings for customer orders while maintaining quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently
Package materials, seal bags, place into master packs, and hand-palletize (up to 40 lbs.)
Follow instructions from shift supervisor
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform basic outdoor duties as needed (cleanup, snow removal, general upkeep)
Follow all safety, training, and quality requirements

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, squat, and stand for extended periods
Forklift or mobile equipment experience preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Ability to wear required PPE
Must be able to work in a tobacco- and smoke-free environment
