As a new Property Manager at EDEN, you can expect a dynamic and engaging day-to-day routine. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing property maintenance, addressing tenant inquiries, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will conduct regular property inspections, coordinate with vendors for repairs, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the living environment for residents. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, allowing you to maintain a professional work-life balance while fostering strong relationships with tenants. Additionally, you'll participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weekends, which will involve addressing urgent issues and ensuring a seamless living experience for residents.

Requirements for this Property Manager job

To thrive as a Property Manager at EDEN, you will need a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, coupled with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, is preferred. Proficiency in property management software and tools is essential for efficient operations and communication. You must also possess a valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less, along with an operable vehicle and proof of insurance to facilitate property visits and tenant interactions. Successful candidates will have previous experience in the nonprofit sector, social services, or property management.

Strong problem-solving abilities and an empathetic approach to tenant relations are crucial. Additionally, the ability to communicate in multiple languages is preferred, enhancing your capability to serve a diverse community. This combination of skills will empower you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents while fostering a supportive living environment.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience are preferred.
  • Also required is a valid OH driver's license with 4 points or less
  • Operable vehicle and proof of insurance
  • Previous experience in a non-profit
  • Social social-services related field or property management as well as the ability to communicate in multiple languages are preferred.
