Job DescriptionThe Drafter is responsible for initiating and developing mechanical and electrical drawing packages for oil and gas processing and production equipment from concept through project completion. This role focuses on 3D CAD modeling, P&ID drafting, and creation of fabrication drawings based on customer specifications and purchase order requirements. All mechanical drawings are extracted directly from 3D models with minimal 2D manipulation, supporting accurate and efficient fabrication.Responsibilities:
- Create 3D CAD models, General Arrangement drawings, and 2D mechanical fabrication drawings
- Complete P&ID drafting and ensure models align with project and customer requirements
- Prepare mechanical Bills of Materials (BOMs) from 3D models for engineering review
- Perform peer drawing checks to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
- Support miscellaneous 2D drafting tasks and other assigned duties
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawings
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment

Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
