Position: Community Manager

Location: Towne Properties Dayton Apartment District - Centerville, OH.

Salary Range: $60,000–$75,000 annually, plus up to $15,000 in commissions and bonuses.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.


What You'll Do:
As a Community Manager, you’ll take the lead in creating a thriving community where residents truly feel at home. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, ensure exceptional service, and support a team committed to maintaining Towne’s high standards of quality and care.

  • Oversee daily operations to create a positive living experience for residents.
  • Manage leasing activities, including showing units and preparing lease agreements.
  • Build relationships with residents, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and administrative teams to maintain property standards.
  • Monitor budgets, financials, and occupancy to maximize property success.
  • Organize community events to enhance resident engagement.
  • Enforce community policies, ensuring a safe and harmonious environment.

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled in both operations and customer relations, and dedicated to providing an exceptional living experience for residents.

  • Minimum of two years of property management experience in the multifamily residential industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
  • Meticulous with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Willingness to undergo drug and background checks upon a job offer.


Other Helpful Skills and Competencies:

  • CAM® or CAPS® designation (preferred).
  • Experience working directly with property owners.
  • Experience with CMHA vouchers is a plus
  • Yardi experience (preferred).
