State of Ohio DNR IT Consultant 2 780888 (Hybrid)
Hybrid role schedule TBD.
Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
The candidate will serve as a Salesforce Architect, responsible for the configuration, customization, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce.com (SFDC) solutions and third-party integrations. This role involves working closely with business teams to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions that support business processes and drive continuous improvement. Hands-on experience with Lightning Aura Components, APEX, Force.com APIs, and Salesforce best practices is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and design Salesforce solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the project life cycle: analysis, design, development, testing, and post-production support.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Create and manage reports, dashboards, workflows, Process Builder flows, Visual Flows, and Communities.
- Handle release management and deployments across sandbox and production environments.
- Manage user testing, including test plans and test cases.
- Maintain process documentation, configuration documents, and user guides.
- Design Salesforce reporting, including Conga solutions.
- Manage and troubleshoot 3rd-party integrations (e.g., Jitterbit).
- Assist with Salesforce data migration using Data Loader and other tools.
- Perform unit testing and participate in UAT.
- Mentor and train state development resources.
- Log, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
Required / Desired Sklls
3+ years of Salesforce platform development & architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community)
3+ years of SFDC design, analysis, configuration, customization, and coding
3+ years experience with SFDC data model, data migration, and integration capabilities
3+ years experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Outlook Connector, Jitterbit)
3+ years experience working in SCRUM/Agile development environments
