Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional proficient in general X-ray modalities to support critical care in a Level 1 Trauma and NICU/neonatal environment. This contract position offers the chance to utilize experience in emergency radiology within a dynamic hospital radiology department equipped with advanced imaging technologies including Shimadzu Rad-Speed, Shimadzu Mobile Art MX8, AGFA DXD 100, and Orthoscan mini-C-arm systems.
Responsibilities include performing a wide range of general X-ray exams primarily in the Emergency Department, including trauma reductions, pediatric imaging, and conducting portable X-rays on hospital units and floors. The role demands adaptability to varied imaging needs and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid ARRT certification and Ohio State Radiologic Technologist License
- Proficiency with Shimadzu and AGFA imaging systems preferred
- Experience working in Level 1 Trauma, ER, and NICU/neonatal settings
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to handle holiday shifts and occasional on-call responsibilities if residing locally
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work flexible shifts with no fixed days
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (5x8-hour shifts)
- Every other Saturday and Sunday required
- Holiday coverage as needed
