Job DescriptionMBS is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Blue Ash, OH. This position is full-time, Direct hire opportunity.FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares and updates routers and operation sheets on assigned parts.
  • Determines and troubleshoots manufacturing processes at all levels of complexity.
  • Engineers’ tools, fixture and gauging modifications.
  • Gives technical direction to CAD/CAM, production and inspection personnel as needed.
  • Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers.
  • Addresses and documents cause and corrective action issues to prevent future problem occurrences.
  • Interfaces with customers concerning design problems, part prints, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Performs a variety of engineering work in planning, design and modification of fixtures, tools, and manufacturing processes.
  • Resolves production problems and completes documentation on assigned parts. Interfaces with customers on assigned parts under close guidance.
  • Generally operates with limited latitude for action and decision-making.
  • Has minimal to average knowledge and understanding of Electro-Chemical Machining (ECM) technologies and processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or actively pursuing bachelor’s degree) in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in mass production and automation processes. Knowledge of tooling, materials, designs, and CAD/CAM.
  • Limited to average knowledge and understanding of Electro-Chemical Machining (ECM) technologies and processes.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and components preferred. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database computer software (i.e. Word, Excel).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Normal working environment – standing, sitting, walking – typically inside a building.
  • Minimal or no exposure to excessive noise, dirt, chemicals, extreme temperatures, or hazardous conditions.
  • Frequent use of computers.
  • Occasional domestic travel via commercial aircraft.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move or lift to 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
  • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
