Job DescriptionPosition Overview
The Fabricator II performs a wide range of fabrication and assembly tasks, supporting the full lifecycle of design, engineering, integration, and build processes. This role involves working with various fabrication equipment and interpreting technical drawings to produce high-quality components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble components in accordance with production guidelines and specifications
- Read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
- Operate fabrication equipment, including CNC plasma cutters, grinders, band saws, and MIG/TIG welders
- Operate forklifts and other standard shop equipment
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with appropriate resources to implement solutions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent related work experience
- Experience with field erection and installation of miscellaneous equipment
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
- Experience operating forklifts and standard shop equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work full-time with flexibility for occasional weekend overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Welder certification
