Position SummaryQuickPro Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented AOI Operator / Electronic Assembly Inspector for a manufacturing client specializing in electronic circuit board assembly. This position is responsible for operating Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment and inspecting electronic materials and assemblies to ensure conformance with established specifications and industry standards.The ideal candidate will become familiar with electronic assembly practices, inspection procedures, and IPC acceptability standards. This role requires attention to detail, basic technical aptitude, and the ability to learn AOI programming and inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic startup and shutdown procedures of AOI equipment
• Understand basic machine functions and inspection process concepts
• Inspect thru-hole and SMT components, including capacitors, resistors, transistors, and ICs
• Learn to read component values, polarity, and orientation
• Demonstrate strong computer skills and the ability to learn AOI programming
• Inspect products to IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards and/or customer specifications
• Utilize inspection and gauging tools to meet customer and IPC requirements
• Read and reference assembly drawings for component orientation and designators
• Use bills of materials to identify part numbers, values, and inspection criteria

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Electronic assembly or inspection experience preferred
• Ability to meet quality, productivity, and safety standards

• Gauging and measurement tools
