Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Pickerington, OH, this full-time contract position supports a K-12 school district through the end of May 2026. The role involves providing occupational therapy assistance services as a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to elementary students across three district locations, supporting a caseload of up to 50 students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assistance services to K-12 students in accordance with individual education plans and district guidelines.
- Collaborate with therapists, educators, and other staff to support student progress and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to therapy services.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of therapeutic goals.
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload spanning multiple locations efficiently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
