Salary: $17+ based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Hydmech M-20A Bandsaw Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a Hydmech M-20A automatic bandsaw, ensuring precise and efficient cutting of materials according to job specifications.

Responsibilities:

Operate the Hydmech M-20A bandsaw to cut metal and other materials to required specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measurements.
Set up and adjust saw settings, including blade speed, feed rate, and coolant levels.
Ensure quality control by inspecting cuts for accuracy and proper finish.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the bandsaw.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow safety protocols and company procedures.

Requirements:

Experience operating a Hydmech M-20A bandsaw or similar metal-cutting equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with workplace safety regulations.
Previous experience in a metal fabrication or machining environment.
Forklift certification (a plus).
Basic welding or fabrication knowledge (a plus).
