Engineer IV specializing in Transmission Line Engineeringneeded to support our client. This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site presence three days per week. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of two years’ experience using PLS-CADD for the modeling and design of transmission lines. The Engineer IV will provide leadership and guidance on a wide range of engineering projects and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-level tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide engineering and technical expertise in the identification, analysis, and resolution of complex problems.
· Lead and manage project activities through effective planning, organizing, estimating, and scheduling.
· Prepare comprehensive technical reports, correspondence, calculations, documentation, and design sketches; conduct detailed analyses and recommend improvements to existing processes.
· Lead complex engineering studies and projects from initiation to completion.
· Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and accurate documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in transmission line engineering, including hands-on expertise with PLS-CADD.
· Solid understanding of transmission line engineering principles, tools, and industry standards.
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
· Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure.
· Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.
· Familiarity with regulatory and safety compliance standards related to transmission systems.
