The Correctional Nurse Practitioner will be working on-site at a correctional facility providing primary care services to the male population. This is a full-time contract opportunity with a weekday-only schedule.

Correctional Nurse Practitioner Compensation
• The pay for this position is $70.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service
Correctional Nurse Practitioner Highlights
• Full-time, on-site position
• Monday through Friday schedule
• No evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Flexible shift start and end times based on facility needs
• Contract assignment projected to last approximately 3 months
• On-site interview required
Correctional Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
• Provide on-site primary care services to the male population at the correctional facility
• Perform comprehensive medical assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Correctional Nurse Practitioner Requirements
• Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license
• Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care
• Board certification in applicable specialty
• DEA certification
• Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification
• Mandatory attendance for the first 90 days
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and TB testing
Correctional Nurse Practitioner Work Environment and Security Requirements
• No cell phones permitted until clearance paperwork is approved
• Must pass through a metal detector
• No tobacco products, vapes, or cans permitted
• Food and beverages must be in clear containers
• No more than one gallon of water allowed inside the facility
