Technical Support Specialist (Hybrid – Richfield, OH 44286)
Pay: $55,000 annually + overtime
Schedule:

Mon–Thu: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST (Onsite)
Fri: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST (Remote)
Work Setting: Hybrid

Summary

Provide technical phone support for hardware/software products. You’ll diagnose issues over the phone, guide customers to resolution, and document each case to ensure fast, accurate support.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound support calls; perform phone diagnostics and step-by-step troubleshooting.
Document issues, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing/CRM system.
Provide technical input to improve service procedures and training materials.
Collaborate with Technical Support leadership and cross-functional teams as needed.
Generate simple reports and keep knowledge base notes current.
When appropriate, recommend consumables and non-contract services.

Qualifications

Associate degree (or equivalent training) in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
2–3 years in technical support or field service (≥1 year phone troubleshooting preferred).
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardware/software basics, and LAN/Ethernet connectivity.
Familiarity with terminal emulation and SCSI devices a plus.
Clear communicator; solid documentation and customer service skills.
Proficient typing/PC use.
