Job Description
As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Site Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and routine patrols. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
- Document observations and incidents according to company and site protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
