Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare opportunity is available for experienced nurses skilled in Operating Room Technology (ORT) to support cardiac, vascular, and thoracic services. This contract position is suited for professionals ready to provide critical care and support across varied surgical service lines.
Location:This role is based in Medina, OH, a vibrant community known for its charming downtown, excellent parks, and strong community spirit. Medina offers a balance of suburban comfort and easy access to urban amenities, making it an attractive place to live and work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing support during cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical cases on a call rotation every third week, spanning from Monday to Monday.
- Offer assistance with daily staffing needs for other surgical service lines when no cases are scheduled for the specialized areas.
- Work a structured schedule consisting of two shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and two shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM weekly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care throughout surgical procedures.

- Proven experience in nursing with a focus on Operating Room Technology.
- Ability to work extended shifts and adapt to a rotating on-call schedule.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support team coordination.
