RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Staff Pharmacist in Fairfield, OH. This is a full-time, onsite role in a long-term pharmacist position. The pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate medication order review, and maintaining compliance with controlled substance regulations. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with and support various areas within the pharmacy operations as needed.

Position Details:
Location: Fairfield, OH
Setting: High-Volume Retail / Compounding Pharmacy
Schedule: 1st Shift 8:00am to 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure proper data entry, workflow, and security of the pharmacy area
Supervise ordering and prepacking activities performed by pharmacy technicians
Screen all new medication orders for correct dose, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications prior to dispensing
Assist in ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of controlled substances
Help maintain a perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs

Requirements:
Clear and active pharmacist license in the state of Ohio required
Background in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is a plus
