We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team in Zanesville, Ohio. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements

  • Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated metal components using hand tools and appropriate welding techniques

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials

  • Verify dimensions and tolerances of fabricated parts using calipers, rulers, levels, and other precision tools

  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and structural integrity of completed assemblies

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA and company safety standards

  • Communicate with supervisors regarding production status, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Technical training or welding certifications preferred

  • Minimum 2+ years of proven, hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings

  • Skilled in MIG and TIG welding; Stick welding is a plus

  • Familiar with metal fabrication tools, layout techniques, and equipment

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and craftsmanship

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of the job

Preferred Certifications (a plus, but not required):

  • AWS (American Welding Society) Certification

  • Forklift or overhead crane certification

  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour safety training
