We are hiring a Heavy Duty Wrecker operator at Laurence's Towing in Mansfield, Ohio.
Starting pay $26.00 per hour with maximum pay at $30.00 per hour with bonuses throughout the year.
There is a possibility for the new employee to attend Rotator school at Miller Industries, leaving October 26, 2025 and returning October 30, 2025.
We are looking for a dependable CDL Driver with a valid Class A driver's license and minimum 3 years experience. A safe driving record and DOT score is required. Must pass a drug test.
Heavy Duty Wrecker Operator Job Duties include:
Operating a heavy duty truck to tow breakdowns and accident commercial vehicles. Rigging to overturn vehicles that may be flipped over. Be mechanically inclined. Driver would need to stay aware of surroundings and conditions during the operation of the truck. Follow safety procedures and check to make sure that all equipment is in great working order. Perform pre inspections and post inspections. Let personnel know of any accidents, vehicle defects, traffic violations or damage to vehicles. Obey traffic laws, follow maps based on truck routes. Refuel truck before returning to back to headquarters and clean out truck of any garbage. Maintain a driving log.
