Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room assignment requiring oncology and ER expertise, including 2 years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital emergency department and Oncology Immediate Care Center (ICC)
- Patient population includes hematology, oncology, and sickle cell with urgent and non-urgent needs
- Diagnoses include sickle cell crisis, fever, abdominal pain, uncontrolled pain, anemia, and nausea, vomiting, dehydration
- Nurses may float between ED and ICC units as needed
- Night shifts: 3x12 hours, 7:00pm - 7:30am
- Uses the Epic EMR system and experience is required
- ICC unit provides a supportive, team-oriented environment and opportunities to develop specialized oncology care skills
- Most ICC patients are discharged home, with some admitted for further care
- Float requirement between ICC and ED units
- First time travelers will be considered

- Active OH or Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
