Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Technician responsibilities includes ensuring products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements through diligent testing, inspection and documentation. Our Quality Assurance Technician plays a critical role in controlling product quality, identifying and troubleshooting defects and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and tests. Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process goods and finished products to ensure they comply with specifications.
  • Use testing equipment. Operate precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify product dimensions and performance.
  • Monitor critical points. In food manufacturing, this includes monitoring Critical Control Points (CCPs) to ensure adherence to safety and quality programs, like HACCP.
  • Audit for compliance. Conduct audits of production processes to verify that staff is following company procedures, industry standards (e.g., SQF, ISO, cGMP), and government regulations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of at least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance-Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 required.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
