Front Desk Guest Service – Day, Evenings & Weekends

Purpose
To provide excellent guest service in person and over the phone by coordinating guest and stylist schedules, ensuring a cheerful, meaningful visit from beginning to end.

Essential Functions
Deliver an exceptional guest experience by:

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and over the phone
  
• Scheduling appointments politely and efficiently
  
• Processing transactions accurately at the point of sale
  
• Promoting additional services, retail products, and gift cards
  
• Acquiring Aveda product knowledge to recommend and sell merchandise confidently
  
• Identifying guests prior to arrival and connecting them promptly with their stylist
  
• Operating SpaBiz efficiently in relation to guest services and sales
  
• Managing service and retail tickets, updating charges in SpaBiz when necessary, and collecting payments
  
• Entering and maintaining accurate guest information in SpaBiz
  
• Referring guest complaints to management through Challenge Forms
  
• Assisting in stocking and maintaining merchandise displays
  
• Keeping all areas clean and presentable
  
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience (retail preferred)
  
• Strong multitasking ability
  
• Comfortable with computers/point-of-sale systems
  
• Reliable and available to work evenings and weekends
