Job Description:

Our client in Mentor, OH is looking for a skilled Saw Operator to join there team.

In this role, you will operate saw machines to cut plastics to specified dimensions and ensure high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operate saw machines to cut materials according to specifications and work orders.
• Measurement: Measure and verify dimensions of materials before and after cutting to ensure accuracy.
• Quality Control: Inspect cut materials for quality and consistency, and make necessary adjustments to the machine.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on saw machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Documentation: Record production data, including quantities and any issues encountered during the cutting process.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating various saw machines and understanding of cutting techniques.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure precise cutting and high-quality results.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety procedures related to machine operation and material handling.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
