Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee our concrete operations on various construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating concrete work, managing crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules to deliver high-quality results efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise concrete operations on-site and manage crews effectively.
- Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety and quality of work being performed.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members regarding best practices in concrete work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in concrete construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of concrete, structural, and industrial construction practices.
- Experience with flatwork, excavating, and earthwork is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
