Brake Press Operator | Batavia, OH
1st Shift | $25-30/hr, BOE
Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is now hiring to fulfill a Brake Press Operator opening for a manufacturing firm in Batavia, OH.
Core Functions:
- Set up and operation: This involves adjusting machine settings, changing tooling, and performing test runs to ensure accuracy.
- Blueprint interpretation: Understanding technical drawings and specifications to determine the correct bending process.
- CNC programming: Inputting instructions into the machine to control bending angles, depths, and other parameters.
- Quality control: Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and making adjustments as needed.
- Maintenance: Performing routine checks and maintenance on the press brake machine.
- Safety: Following all safety procedures and wearing necessary protective gear.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Blueprint reading: Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
- CNC programming: Knowledge of CNC machine operation and programming.
- Mechanical aptitude: Understanding the mechanics of press brake machines.
- Math skills: Performing measurements and calculations for bending operations.
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in bending and measurements.
- Safety awareness: Prioritizing safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience: Prior experience with press brake operation, especially CNC machines, is required.
- Physical fitness: Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle sheet metal.
