Position: Machinist

Department: Fabrication and Machining

Direct Report To: Lead Machinist

Shift: 2nd - 3pm-1am

Company Background:

PowerBuilt is an industry in the design and implementation of custom material handling equipment. Our clients include many of the largest auto manufacturers in North America. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our machining and fabrication team.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Machining
  1. Run HURCO vertical CNC machine with conversational programming
  2. Part quality verification
  3. Completing cut lists with vertical and horizontal bandsaw
  4. Run CNC lathe as required
  5. Create material lists and submit to purchasing as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• Exposure to Microsoft Office & Excel
• SolidWorks exposure preferred but not required
• CNC Mill and/or lathe professional experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Team player & quick learner with creative problem-solving skills
