An opportunity exists for a skilled Registered Nurse with Med/Surg Telemetry expertise in Lorain, OH. Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current Permanent Ohio nursing license or Compact State license in hand
- Minimum 18 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing prior to assignment
- At least 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience; travel nursing experience acceptable
- Required certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Proficient in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration (assessments completed during orientation)
- Able to work at least every other holiday
Schedule/Hours
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 19:30 or 19:00 - 07:30)
- Day/Night rotating shifts with flexibility as needed by the hospital
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive Med/Surg Telemetry patient care adhering to hospital protocols
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and administer medications safely and effectively
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exemplary patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit hours promptly through the designated system
