Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Journeyman Welder for our client. This job is responsible for performing welding operations to meet quality and production requirements, troubleshooting and reworking weld defects, diagnosing and restoring welding equipment functionality, supporting production by minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Perform welding operations in accordance with quality and production requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot flight-weld issues to ensure product quality and process stability.
- Perform weld rework as needed to correct defects and meet specifications.
- Diagnose welding equipment issues and restore equipment functionality efficiently to maintain production flow.
- Support production by minimizing downtime through quick problem identification and resolution.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- Journeyman Welder certification preferred or equivalent demonstrated welding experience.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot welding defects and perform rework.
- Experience diagnosing welding equipment issues and returning equipment to service.
- Welding experience or a related technical/mechanical background demonstrating strong aptitude and ability to develop skills quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively in a production environment.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Communication skills.
