Field Engineer
Location: Dublin, OH
Salary: $80k-$115k
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering activities are conducted according to specifications and that projects are completed within deadlines and budget constraints. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports on progress and issues.
- Utilize CAD software for layout and design tasks as needed for project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field teams and troubleshoot engineering issues as they arise.
- Assist in the management of materials and resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness during construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus, along with experience in concrete work, excavating, flatwork, and commercial layout.
