Kodak is looking for a mechanical design/drafting or mechanical engineering technology co-op to contribute to the development of web handling, pre/post finishing equipment and printing systems.

The mechanical design/drafting or mechanical engineering technology student will work with a mentor designer/engineer in a multi-functional engineering team in the systems development group.

Responsibilities:

This work could include research and development (R&D), product design and development, manufacturing, system integration, and system engineering.
The integration of our continuous inkjet technology into larger printing systems provides the opportunity to work on complex, multidisciplinary problems.
MET and Mechanical Design/Drafting co-op projects involve understanding drawings, 3D part and assembly models and the criticality of using proper dimensioning to create real, reproduceable components that fit and function as intended.
The co-op will gain experience both in design, drafting and detailing methods as well as participating in hands-on assembly activities. This hands-on activity will help in enforcing proper design and detailing techniques and the overall improvement of designs.
