Customer Operations | Valdosta, GA | Onsite Role at a Major Glass Manufacturing Facility

Tiama, part of Kestrel Vision’s Glass Business Unit, is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing professional to lead the execution and continuous improvement at our customer location. In this role, you will own day-to-day project execution, quality performance, and operational alignment — ensuring our equipment, systems, and services perform to contract, to standard, and to expectation in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead on-site project execution and day-to-day operations within a glass manufacturing facility
• Direct and support technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met
• Monitor and improve production KPIs (e.g., pack-to-melt, held ware, ramp-up performance)
• Ensure production readiness, including tooling availability, job setups, system configuration, and documentation
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and quality issues in real time
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both local plant performance and global solution
• Serve as our primary on-site representative, balancing customer partnership with the confidence to challenge decisions that impact quality, performance, or commercial outcomes
• Communicate progress, risks, and results clearly to internal and customer stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Background in manufacturing engineering, industrial automation, capital equipment, or technical services
• Experience in project management, manufacturing operations, or customer-site technical roles
• Strong understanding of data-driven manufacturing performance and KPIs
• Ability to lead technical teams in fast-paced, high-pressure production environments
• Comfort working within performance-based or Equipment-as-a-Service (EaaS) models
• Confident communicator with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience
• PMP or similar certification a plus
• Spanish a plus

Candidates must be local or able to reliably commute or relocate. This position requires regular on-site presence at the customer’s Valdosta, GA facility.
