Job Description
Position Summary: The Rebuilder is responsible for the disassembly,
refurbishment, and reassembly of vended and non-vended commercial laundry
equipment. This role plays a key part in reducing company costs by refurbishing used
machines to extend their lifecycle, minimizing the need for new equipment
purchases. The Rebuilder will ensure all machines meet operational, mechanical,
and aesthetic standards before being redeployed to branch offices or customer
locations.
Core Responsibilities:
Disassemble, inspect, and clean commercial washers and dryers.
Replace or repair defective components, including motors, belts, seals,
transmissions, and electronic parts.
Reassemble equipment according to manufacturer and company standards to
ensure like-new operation.
Perform functionality tests to verify equipment is in proper working order
before deployment.
Identify and salvage usable parts for reuse in future rebuilds.
Properly dispose of obsolete or non-repairable components according to
company and environmental guidelines.
Maintain an organized workspace to ensure efficiency in locating parts and
tools.
Ensure all rebuilt equipment meets operational, mechanical, and cosmetic
standards.
