Job Description
We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our family-owned air cargo operation based in Toledo, Ohio. This role supports day-to-day aircraft maintenance activities with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability.
Position Scope
This position supports maintenance operations for affiliated Part 135 and Part 125 operators, with work performed primarily under the Companys FAA Part 145 Repair Station. As business needs evolve, this role may also support future customers operating under FAA Part 121, subject to applicable approvals and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform aircraft maintenance and repairs in accordance with approved data
- Read, analyze, and interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, electrical schematics, company policies, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Perform maintenance on ground support equipment as needed
- Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- FAA mechanics certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- A minimum of two years line maintenance experience, including exposure to heavy jet maintenance B737 experience is a plus
- Passport and/or ability to obtain passport within 60 days of hire
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft
- Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screening and other required background checks
- Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge
- Willingness and ability to travel to recover aircraft, work with other bases, and/or meet the training needs of the company
- Ability to work various shifts, overtime, and/or after-hour call outs will be occasionally required
