Job Description
ComResource is looking for a Data Center Engineer.
We need someone to assist in maintaining data center infrastructure, supporting hardware and software operations, and ensuring high system availability.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Monitor and maintain servers, storage, networking hardware, and facility infrastructure</li>
<li>Install, configure, and decommission data center equipment</li>
<li>Conduct facility inspections and manage work queues</li>
<li>Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as needed</li>
<li>Document system configurations and operational processes</li>
<li>Mentor data center staff and lead small to medium projects</li>
<li>Design and implement new enterprise technologies and facility improvements</li>
<li>Support R&amp;D efforts for hardware, software, and capacity planning</li>
</ul>
 
Essentials:
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting Cisco UCS and VMware vSphere</li>
<li>Knowledge of Windows Server, networking, SAN, and monitoring tools</li>
<li>Strong communication and ability to manage multiple projects</li>
<li>3+ years of enterprise IT operations experience</li>
</ul>
 
Desired:
<ul>
<li>Experience with SolarWinds, Nlyte, and ServiceNow</li>
<li>IT certifications and related technical training</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience</li>
</ul>
