Job DescriptionCorporate Litigation Paralegal
Our recruiting firm is partnering with a well-established regional law firm to identify a talented Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join their primary office in Canton, Ohio. This firm has a strong team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff across multiple locations and is known for delivering high-quality legal services in a collaborative environment.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support attorneys on a variety of matters. The successful candidate will work independently on assigned projects, receiving general guidance from attorneys while contributing to the firm’s case management and client support efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
- Investigate factual evidence and create exhibits, charts, and diagrams to present information effectively.
- Manage paper-based discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, deposition information, and subpoena responses.
- Support electronic discovery, including identification, acquisition, organization, and utilization of digital information.
- Maintain and update case-management databases.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
- Communicate professionally with clients via meetings, phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
- Provide administrative support as needed to attorneys.

Technical Skills

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred
- Exceptional attention to accuracy, detail, and grammar
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Current Notary Public certification (or in process of obtaining) required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree with Paralegal Certificate, associate’s degree in paralegal studies, or comparable experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $55,000–$65,000, based on experience and education
