We are hiring a Legal Billing Clerk for the Cleveland office. Training begins in-office, after training the schedule moves to Hybrid. 
 
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Invoicing &amp; Billing:&nbsp;Compiling, managing, and executing attorney monthly client billing. This includes processing complex, multi-matter, or split-party billing in accordance with fee agreements.</li>
<li>Electronic Billing (E-billing):&nbsp;Submitting invoices through various electronic billing vendors and handling rejections.</li>
<li>Time &amp; Expense Tracking:&nbsp;Reviewing and tracking billable hours and expenses to ensure accuracy.</li>
<li>Accounts Receivable:&nbsp;Monitoring accounts, running aging reports, and following up on overdue payments.</li>
<li>Administrative Support:&nbsp;Maintaining client files, managing account balances, and resolving billing inconsistencies.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Required Skills and Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Experience:&nbsp;Previous experience in a law firm setting is often required, along with proficiency in legal billing software (e.g., Aderant, Elite, Clio, or ProLaw).</li>
<li>Technical Skills:&nbsp;Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel) and strong accounting/bookkeeping knowledge.</li>
<li>Attention to Detail:&nbsp;High accuracy in handling complex billing, including discounts and task-based billing.</li>
<li>Confidentiality:&nbsp;Strict adherence to client and firm confidentiality.</li>
<li>Communication:&nbsp;Ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff, and clients regarding billing issues.&nbsp;</li>
