We are currently seeking a Mechanical Millwright Field Technician to join our team. This is a hands on, field based position working in industrial environments on a variety of mechanical systems and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Install, assemble, align, and level industrial machinery and equipment including conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, and rotating equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, layout drawings, and equipment manuals

Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and laser alignment systems

Diagnose mechanical issues and perform troubleshooting and repairs

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure reliability

Remove and replace bearings, seals, shafts, belts, chains, and couplings

Perform machinery rigging, moving, and placement using cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other lifting devices

Align machinery using laser, dial, or optical alignment methods

Perform or assist with welding and fabrication for repairs and modifications

Lubricate machinery and maintain lubrication systems

Follow all safety procedures including lockout tagout, confined space, and fall protection

Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various industrial environments

Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to coordinate work

Complete required documentation related to maintenance and repairs
Qualifications
-
Previous millwright or industrial mechanical experience preferred

Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

Willingness to work in the field and travel to job sites as required
