We are looking for a Controls Technologist to support our team at our corporate location in Cincinnati, OH.
Provide controls support for all internal and external customers for LSI Controls. This will include hands-on startup of lighting controls projects, project management of system installation, issue resolution, troubleshooting and implementation support. Provide technical and sales support for LSI Lighting sales channels including travel to job sites as needed. Drive continuous improvement throughout LSI Lighting and Controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage flow of work from project take-off, quote, submittal, order entry and post-sales support. Implement continuous improvement to add value and eliminate waste in all processes
- Coordinate with LSI Lighting sales channel to assure proper controls support is provided for LSI Lighting control sales goals to meet or exceeded.
- Strong problem solving, hands-on and troubleshooting skills
- Manage project installations through agents, contractors and end-users
- Knowledge of cloud-based data storage systems
- Knowledge of lighting, interior and exterior and various light sources
- Strong electrical knowledge of high and low voltage systems
- Wireless communication experience
- Experience with electrical sales distribution channels
- Some travel required to job sites to trouble shoot and commission
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a college or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
