Position Overview:
We're seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our client's team on a full-time, on-site basis in Minster, OH.
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring weld quality meets or exceeds industry standards. You'll interpret blueprints and specifications, perform inspections and qualification tests, and maintain accurate documentation-all while helping maintain the company's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and verify the quality of welds according to AWS D1.1 and D1.5 standards.

Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.

Conduct welder performance qualification and procedure qualification tests.

Document and report inspection results with accuracy and attention to detail.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to uphold the highest safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
✅ Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) - Required
✅ Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and techniques
✅ Hands-on experience interpreting blueprints and specifications
✅ Proven ability to perform welder qualification tests
✅ High attention to detail, quality, and compliance
✅ Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
✅ High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
