Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Attorney specializing in Employment Law to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and representation to our clients on a range of employment-related issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while effectively advocating for our clients' interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on employment law matters including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII.
- Represent clients in disputes related to employment law, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment claims.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policy manuals, and employee handbooks to ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in employment law and regulations.
- Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on employment law compliance and best practices.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law.
- Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, and other labor laws.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of successfully representing clients in employment law cases.
